  • Prom girl return policy is horrible

    I purchased 3 dresses from there website which looked beautiful online. I entered my measurements I order the recommended sizes received my oteams and of course they all did not fit and looked cheap. I returned my items only to find out one item was for store credit only and the other two required a restocking fee. Son now I%u2019m stuck with a credit that I will not use because they have a very limited selection for plush size ladies and I ended up paying more then originally spent... stay away from prom girl you better of shopping at your local mall.   • The worst under qualified customer NO service reps

    They and UPS gave me the run around for a package they claim I received at my door.. Ups finally admitted, apologized and filed a claim with Promgirl that indeed they did not leave the package at my door.. Promgirl did NOTHING TO HELP NOR REMEDY THE SITUATION, it was mostly me with a bit of UPS. Promgirl even told me basically to deal with it, figure it out and goodbye " buy again"..   • Awful Experience

    I have placed my order on the 24th of May and paid for one business day delivery. The reason why I chose one business day option was that one of my friends was in Chicago and she was coming back to Turkey on the 26th. It was supposed to be in Chicago on the 25th but instead it arrived on the 27th.     %u201CHORRIBLE!!!%u201D 7/24/15 My daughter ordered her prom dress from them. The picture and description showed beautiful Swarovski crystal beading. When it came it was dollar store craft beads that I would use for a kindergarten project. The dress color was wrong, it was supposed to be a mint green fade and it was a solid sky blue.     I have had 2 experiences from this company, which unfortunately ended up to be two of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The first dress, a Mori Lee black dress, was sent to me in good condition. Being a size 0, I expected it to be a little long and I would take it to the tailor to get it fixed.     I ordered some dresses for my daughter - about 8 of them - I understood that there would be a restocking fee of 10% but I chose to make the purchase anyway. One of the dresses appeared in my cart as "final sale - no returns", so I deleted that dress, as I wasn't sure it would be a keeper anyway.     I bought 3 dresses at, I read all this bad reviews so I was hesitating to make the purchase, but the dresses were beautiful and cheaper than other websites. I hesitated for a year because of all this bad reviews. I changed my mind when I chat with an operator on their official Facebook page and look to all the pictures customers upload telling how happy they are with their dresses.   • Horrible return policy

    I will never buy another dress from them for as long as I live. I bought a dress for my brothers wedding. I didn't care for the way it looked or felt on me. When I started to fill out the return slip, it said I had to get an RA number from them directly. When I went online to get the RA# they informed me I was past the 5 day return limit and refused to give one to me. No where on the return slip does it say ANYTHING about needing to do it in 5 days.   • is a NIGHTMARE!!! is a comlpete NIGHTMARE! First, I ordered my daughter's prom gown - they took the payment, and much later sent me an email claiming the dress is not even in stock.     I had such a breezy time ordering from this place. I ordered 4 dresses for my upcoming prom, and I was able to easily return all of the ones I didnt want, simply because they didnt look right on me (other sites have really strict return policies, making you like take photographic proof of the products not fitting which is weird to me, and then sometimes theyll deny it even after that, but promgirl let you return them so easily!).     I've ordered 2 dresses from for my winter formal and upcoming prom and they were all received very quickly and by ground shipping! I was very happy with the dresses I received.     STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Worst workmanship and customer service ever! I ordered a dress that came 3" longer on one side than the other. They did not have a replacement to send me in time for Prom so they asked me to get a quote to have it fixed. Got one, called them back and sent picture of dress.     I order my dress. i got my dress in few day. I were so excited to try on. Soon I open the box , very disappointed. This dress is so cheap looking.. I thought I bought at the &5.00 dollars store..     I just ordered my homecoming dress and after i ordered i read all these horrible reviews, i was so afraid that my dress is not going to be good!     I ordered two dresses, the both showed available online. I received an email the following day, one of the dresses was out of stock. I wrote back to see if they can still get the dress to me I will wait, they said not by the date I need it.     This is the WORST site I have ever tried to order from. I got my dress that I ordered and it was a completely different color than what was shown in the picture and the suquins were literally coming off of the dress! The stitching was pulling out the instant I tried it on for the first time. When I called customer service they were rude and would not work with me in any way possible.     While ordering a dress I took their advice to get the bigger size because I was in between sizes. That was the worst mistake ever! Not only did the dress fit extremely big, by the time they DECIDED to give me the store credit, my dress was sold out. Totally not my fault since I couldn't have ordered the smaller size due to their return policy of only store credit.     I ordered my prom dress last Thursday, they said they had the dress in stock. I got overnight shipping. Monday rolls around... No emails, no dress. Nada. My mom called and they said they had it in stock and would ship it that day. It's Tuesday. No dress. My mom called. The lady said "we're sorry but that dress is no longer in stock."     I purchased a prom dress for my daughter 3 months in advance (beginning of February)from, completely aware of the non-refundabel policy. But what I wasnt aware of was the restocking fee (my bad). My daughter was not happy with the way the dress fit or looked (not like the pic).     I ordered a dress on 3/30/2010 that, according to was in stock and available for shipment the next business day. On 4/1/2010 I received an email that stated that my item had shipped and it supplied me with a tracking number. As of 4/6/2010 we still had not recieved the dress and called the company.
